As Chief Marketing Officer, Ryan was a member of the Executive Committee for Hard Rock Digital, an early stage start-up and joint venture with Hard Rock International. Ryan orchestrated the growth of the business and marketing team from zero to one and was accountable for all marketing strategy, brand planning, and go-to-market execution for Hard Rock Bet, an integrated sportsbook and casino mobile application. Ryan led cross-functional initiatives to drive operational excellence, user acquisition, retention, and marketing analytics, positioning the business for accelerated growth and market leadership.
Ryan was Head of Cross-Platform Gaming for Facebook Gaming, where he supported the development and execution of advertising partnerships designed to help clients build brands and achieve performance results across the Facebook Family of Apps and Services. In his role, Ryan was explicitly responsible for the shift in monetization strategy and revenue growth from brand to performance based outcomes for cross-platform gaming clients focused on console, PC, and mobile games.
In 8 years at PlayStation, Ryan held various leadership roles focused on integrated portfolio marketing communications, media, and partnerships. As a member of the marketing leadership team he was accountable for the communication strategy and execution of creative, media, agency, and sponsorship investments that contributed to record revenue growth for PlayStation hardware, software, subscription and commerce products during his tenure.
